Kitchen JuJu
This time, we will introduce "Kitchen Juki" in Atami City, Shizuoka Prefecture.
I had visited this restaurant once with a business partner quite some time ago, and I remember that the food was cheap and delicious, so I had the impression that it was good value for money, and so I went there for an interview this time!
It was around 1pm, but when we tried to enter as a group of two, the restaurant was almost full, and it was so crowded that there would be no seats available if we sat down.
Considering the location and time of day, I was surprised at how busy it was.
It is located on the west side of Atami City Hall, and there are several parking lots nearby.
It is also easily accessible, about a 10-minute walk from Kurinomiya Station.
I ordered the pasta of the day for lunch, which was a Japanese-style pasta made with local vegetables.

As you can see from the photo, in addition to the pasta, the meal also came with bread, soup, salad, and two small side dishes, and 1,200 yen for this amount in a tourist area is still cheap! I thought.
The taste was good overall, and it was a very simple Japanese-style pasta. It was very delicious to dip the leftover soup on bread after finishing the pasta.

It seems like we were getting a fair number of nutrients.
The person I was with had katsu curry.
The curry, which must have been simmered for a long time, was topped with a thick pork cutlet, making for a very filling meal.
The contents of the small dishes were also slightly different.

I don't think it's the volume a 52 year old man would eat…lol

The cutlet curry also looked very delicious.
The menu is quite extensive, and although I only tried pasta and curry, it seems like a restaurant where you would be very satisfied no matter what you eat.
Why not give it a try?
