Not only azaleas but also various kinds of rhododendrons are in full bloom, delighting visitors.
During the Flower Festival, various events are held in addition to viewing flowers. At the stage events, you can enjoy performances and dances by local performers, and at the workshops, you can experience hand-making. There is also a mini train ride experience and a digital stamp rally that are especially popular with children, so families can enjoy it all day.
There are also snack stalls in the park, so you can enjoy viewing the flowers while enjoying delicious food. The visitor center in the park provides information and pamphlets about the Flower Festival, so it is convenient to check it out before visiting.
