A market event packed with the charm of Minami Atami!
The Nagahama Special Market is an event held regularly at Nagahama Seaside Park "Umieru Nagahama" in Atami City, Shizuoka Prefecture.
There are stalls selling local specialties, food and drink, a flea market, and more, selling fresh agricultural products, seafood, and dried fish from the Minami Atami area, and you can also try local delicacies such as squid minced meat.
There are also free foot baths and stage events, making it popular with families and tourists.
The event is held mainly on the first and third weekends of each month, and may be canceled depending on the weather.
ATAMI Jacaranda Festival 2025

The Atami Jacaranda Festival is an event held every year in early summer on the Jacaranda Promenade in Atami City, Shizuoka Prefecture.
Jacaranda trees were given to the city of Cascais in Portugal, and currently over 100 trees are planted along the coast of Atami.
Jacaranda trees, which bloom with purple flowers, are also called "purple cherry blossoms," and their beautiful flowers color Atami in early summer.

During the event period, it is recommended to avoid strong lights and observe quietly.
Additionally, the Sawada Seiko Memorial Museum, adjacent to Atami Plum Garden, will extend its opening hours during the evening firefly viewing period, offering cultural enjoyment.
